**Q: Are they good for sports? Like soccer?**
A: Oh...Great for sports...I have did some mud runs and with all the mud stuck to my hair and the hair tie...not even once did i have to adjust or tighten my hair.  I also have played basketball in them...they are great.

A: The material is manufactured in China but the bands are inspected for quality and packaged in the USA.

**Q: anyone used these to tie out a tarp?**
A: Not a good idea. These are stretchy fabric hair ties and never meant to use with a tarp - you use a bungee cord to secure a tarp...seriously?
