**Q: Is the band removeable?**
A: Yes

**Q: Is the hat shipped in a box?**
A: yes not in a traditional hat box but it is shipped in a box ..be sure to order correct size they sent me wrong size first time even though i ordered my size 7 1/4 but they sent me 6 7/8

**Q: What the height of the hat? Is it a felt sweatband or leather?**
A: Sitting on a flat surface it is 4 1/2" tall.  It is a leather or faux leather band.

**Q: Is the feather removable without leaving stains on the hat?**
A: So far yes, but I haven't gotten it wet yet.  Not sure if that would leave a stain or not.
