Raw Manuka Honey UMF 24+ / MGO 1122+ – Monofloral, Independently Lab-Tested – New Zealand Origin, QR Traceable – 250g : desertcart.co.uk: Grocery ## Features - VERIFIED POTENCY, NOT SELF-CERTIFIED: every batch of this UMF 24+ / MGO 1122+ Manuka honey is tested by independent laboratories, not by us. The MGO value shows the milligrams of methylglyoxal per kilogram of honey: an MGO 1122+ contains at least 1122 mg/kg, the minimum stated on the label. New Zealand Honey Co. holds UMF licence no. 2060 and is randomly audited by the association, so you know exactly what you're buying among so many diluted or mislabelled products. - WHAT UMF 24+ MEANS: MGO (methylglyoxal) is the compound that determines a Manuka honey's grade — the higher the number, the more concentrated. This 250g jar holds a dense, velvety, almost fudge-like honey with a herbaceous flavour, caramel notes and a clean finish. A genuine monofloral Manuka honey, not a flavoured everyday honey. - NEW ZEALAND ORIGIN, TRACEABLE TO THE HIVE: importing honey into New Zealand is banned, so harvesting, packing and testing all happen there — it's 100% New Zealand Manuka. Our bees forage the nectar of Manuka flowers, which bloom just a few weeks each year, in the apiaries around Lake Wanaka on the South Island. Every jar carries a QR code so you can trace the batch and its test results. - VERSATILE EVERY DAY AND IN THE KITCHEN: enjoy it straight off the spoon, in tea or warm milk (below boiling), on yoghurt, porridge and toast, or in smoothies and marinades. Keep it in the cupboard, at your desk or in your bag. Stores at room temperature, away from direct light, with no refrigeration needed. - JUST MANUKA HONEY, NO ADDITIVES: a single ingredient, with no added sugars, colours or flavours, in a recyclable, BPA-free jar. Three generations of New Zealand beekeeping, in the Ward family since 1930. Please note: honey is not suitable for children under 12 months. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07V8DCTF4 | | ASIN | B07V8DCTF4 | | Age Range Description | All Ages | | Best Sellers Rank | 20,229 in Grocery ( See Top 100 in Grocery ) 114 in Honey | | Brand Name | NEW ZEALAND HONEY CO | | Container Type | Jar | | Country as Labeled | New Zealand | | Country of Origin | New Zealand | | Country of origin | New Zealand | | Cuisine | Maori cuisine | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (2,407) | | Customer reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (2,407) | | Diet Type | Vegetarian | | Flavour | Manuka UMF 24+ | | Global Trade Identification Number | 09421023991440 | | Honey Type | Manuka | | Item Dimensions | 6 x 6 x 8 centimetres | | Item Form | Cream | | Item Package Weight | 0.29 Kilograms | | Item Volume | 176 Millilitres | | Item Weight | 250 Grams | | Manufacturer | New Zealand Honey Co. | | Manufacturer | New Zealand Honey Co. | | Manufacturer Contact Information | New Zealand Honey Co. | | Manufacturer reference | NZHC-SP-24125-US-FBA | | Net Content Volume | 8.8 Fluid Ounces | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Package Size Name | 249.5 g | | Package Type Name | Jar | | Part Number | NZHC-SP-24125-US-FBA | | Product Dimensions | 6 x 6 x 8 cm; 250 g | | Size | 250 g (Pack of 1) | | Specialty | UMF Certified | | Unit Count | 250.0 gram | ## Product Details - **Brand:** NEW ZEALAND HONEY CO - **Country/region of origin:** New Zealand - **Flavour:** Manuka UMF 24+ - **Honey type:** Manuka - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 6 x 6 x 8 centimetres - **Item weight:** 250 Grams - **Net content volume:** 8.8 Fluid Ounces - **Package information:** Jar - **Package weight:** 0.29 Kilograms - **Speciality:** UMF Certified ## Images ![Raw Manuka Honey UMF 24+ / MGO 1122+ – Monofloral, Independently Lab-Tested – New Zealand Origin, QR Traceable – 250g - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71rlrGSCmVL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Flavor** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is the jar glass or plastic?** A: It is plastic and that is the only downside; however, the quality is high. **Q: Is the manuka honey raw and cold pressed?** A: yes, it is raw and unpasteurized, so no heat treatment. **Q: Hi, when you take off thr lid is the white seal over the honey tight and needs to be pulled off or loose and not fitted? Thanks** A: Hi, As we pack with more than 1 packing facility, there are two types of seals, one induction seal, and one pressure seal, one requires a peel back and the other doesn't. So long as the honey has not leaked and the tamp[er band attached to the jar is still in tact. **Q: What umf should I get for daily use?** A: If using just for everyday wellbeing. I suggest using UMF 15+. If your using it to treat a condition I would suggest using UMF 20+ or UMF 24+. Take two teaspoons worth a day, one in the morning & one in the evening. That’s for any of the UMF ratings. ## Frequently Bought Together - New Zealand Honey Co. Raw Manuka Honey UMF 24+ / MGO 1122+, UMF Certified / 8.8oz - New Zealand Honey Co.
