These are also really versatile. You can play jazz, classical, pretty much anything. It seems to project pretty well too, though I haven't tried A lot of beginners start on a 4C. The 4C would be a better choice for someone brand new to playing. I went the 5C because I can bring plenty of air already. I'll probably upgrade this after a few months on tenor, but I'll definitely hang on to this one as backup. It's a nice player.
