If you, or those you care for has delicate skin which tears these are a must. I used them recently on my father who had torn large chunks of skin right off his arms when falling. They are fantastic in terms of staying on long enough to give the body enough time to start growing back skin. They also are padded so reduce the risk of further damage and absorbent. They do cost a lot more than plasters but be assured they are nothing like plasters in quality and use.
