It works really well most of the time. Every once in a while the mph reading stays at zero even when I start driving. To fix it I need to turn the unit off and back on again and then it starts working. It was very easy to install even as someone who doesn't know much about cars.Update: I've had for a little over a month now. I'm having to turn it off and back on again more and more for it to work.2nd update: I’m putting it at one star now. Besides the initial issue, now it has also stopped turning off automatically. I noticed last night that it was still on and thought that was weird, but didn’t think it would affect the battery that much. I woke up to a dead car battery. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HUD looks great and works like a charm! *by M***L on Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2020* I have a 07 Lincoln MKX and for me it was pretty much "plug n' play" . I didn't need to go into settings for any calibration. The unit was set in MPH and matched up with my speedometer as soon as I plugged into my obd2 connection.So far I haven't ran into any cons with the unit, all pro's! i.e. it's bright at night and in daytime. I placed my unit off to the side and hid it behind my registration sticker so from the outside looking into the front windshield, it's not visible. ;) The unit does come with a thin cord so it's easy to run up the side panel and squeeze into crevices. I mentioned the unit is bright at night, so much so that other drivers can see my speed by looking into my car if they're next to me. Definitely an eye catcher! A couple of things I would recommend, 1. decide on placement first before putting it down with the adhesive. I used double-sided tape and drove around re-positioning it as I drove to determine where exactly I wanted it. 2. You don't have to stick the reflective film on the windshield to see the reflection while determining where you want it. Just know that with film on the windshield the reflection will be even more clear and brighter.By far the best addition to my car for the price, … well neck and neck with the echo auto! ### ⭐ Displayed info freezes up constantly *by L***Z on Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2019* I ordered this initially in august and had a lot of issues with displayed info freezing up. If I was driving at 70 mph, the display would show that speed, but if I slowed down, the display would keep showing 70 mph even if I was driving at 20 or 40. I thought it was a defective unit and exchanged it for a different unit (same model). The new unit arrived and it had the exactly same issue. I couldn't spot a pattern, it can happen while driving in freeway, in cruise control, or in city traffic. It just does it and only way out is resetting unit.I upgraded from another HUD unit because this one has a lip and I loved that but never had issues with the other display so I'm not sure if it is a compatibility issue and if it is, then the seller should point that out.I am constantly on the road (drove almost 900 miles this week alone) and the only way I can make it work again is if I unplug it and plug it again (which is very dangerous while driving). In a 300 mile drive this weekend I had to do that at least 3 times.Today I was going to return it again and just get a refund but I noticed my return window expired 10 days ago. 100% my fault and wont hold seller accountable for that.
