She got it when she was 3 and still uses it today at 5. The lid covers the bowl perfectly and doesn't slide off easily. The spoon and fork are durable. I never used the silicone non-skid ring below the bowl so I cant comment on that, but everything else is durable and functional. You can close your eyes and buy this. My daughter has been taking the fork to school for over a year and it is still in good condition. Warning - don't overheat the bowl in the microwave - it can chip the pattern. I purchased the Dia De Los Muertos set and love it! It appears to be really well made, the suction sticks well to his highchair tray, I purchased this to try and "train" my toddler on how to keep a plate on his tray without him having to constantly throw it off the tray and of course for him to start using utensils.
