It offers calibrated precision, accuracy, reliability and technical superiority over other Noseweight Gauges. It has a clear large scale to ensure the precise and safe loading for this safety critical area,to ensure Caravan stability when towing. The Camping and Caravan Club conducted a study on Noseweight Gauges and found them to be inaccurate and unreliable. They then approached Milenco and asked if we could produce a Noseweight Gauge to the standard BS7691,which was written in 2004. At this time no one had produced a conforming Gauge to the standard. We conducted studies on the available Noseweight Gauges and at best found them only accurate within 12kilos but more concerning is that we found these Noseweight Gauges often became ridiculously inaccurate with use. The Milenco Precision Calibrated Noseweight Gauge has been manufactured using unique materials so that its calibration re Review: Terrific tool for lightweight trailers - NOTE: Maximum rated weight is 287 pounds (not 237 as stated in another review here). This is for lightweight trailers only! I really wish this and its larger counterpart were more readily available in the US, because it is far more convenient to use than the bathroom scale method, and is equally accurate. The only nuisance is having to convert from kilograms to pounds, which is no big deal. It’s well built, easy to read, and very portable. Shipping from the UK took about two weeks. Well worth the money and the wait as far as I’m concerned. Does seem to go in and out of stock, so if it’s showing as unavailable, give it a few days and try again. Review: Very happy to know my tongue weight - I am building a small camper trailer to be pulled by my Subaru. It's terrific to not have to guess at tongue weight. I was using my bathroom scale but this is so much nicer. ## Features - Milenco Calibrated Nose Weight Gauge Caravan trailer ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B004W17D94 | | Best Sellers Rank | #2,064,008 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #1,985 in RV Jacks & Stabilizers | | Brand | Milenco | | Brand Name | Milenco | | Color | Silber | | Compatible with Vehicle Type | Trailer | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 1,221 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05060101832691 | | Item Dimensions | 21.65 x 10.63 x 7.48 inches | | Item Weight | 1650 milligrams | | Load Capacity | 1.3E+2 kilos | | Manufacturer | Milenco | | Manufacturer Part Number | BS7961 | | Material | Aluminum | | Material Type | Aluminum | | Maximum Lifting Height | 18.49 inches | | Model Number | MOV9983317 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | OEM Equivalent Part Number | cb5f8e09-bcf7-40c6-a669-6e99a2dd8c83 | | Style Name | Single | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Vehicle Service Type | Trailer | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Milenco - **Load Capacity:** 1.3E+2 kilos - **Material:** Aluminum - **Maximum Lifting Height:** 18.49 inches - **Vehicle Service Type:** Trailer ## Images ![2691 Calibrated Nose Weight Gauge Caravan Trailer - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/416uTGS4tHL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Terrific tool for lightweight trailers *by V***A on March 14, 2020* NOTE: Maximum rated weight is 287 pounds (not 237 as stated in another review here). It's terrific to not have to guess at tongue weight. I was using my bathroom scale but this is so much nicer. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ small, light and works *by G***1 on April 21, 2026* Really happy I found this simple solution to checking tongue weight on a small trailer. Not much effort, I put the tool under the ball receiver and lowered the front jack until the scale was supporting the trailer. The 4 stars is because I wish there was a 500 pound version, 300LB is OK for a light trailer like mine but is limiting. Recommend if your tongue weight is light enough. ## Frequently Bought Together - Milenco 2691 Calibrated Nose Weight Gauge Caravan Trailer - Tri-Lynx 00015 Lynx Levelers - 10 Pack , Orange - Camco RhinoFLEX 15-Ft RV Sewer Hose Kit - Features Clear Elbow Fitting w/Removable 4-in-1 Adapter - Connects to 3” Slip or 3”/3.5”/4” NPT Threaded Sewer Connection (39742) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/141990979-2691-calibrated-nose-weight-gauge-caravan-trailer](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/141990979-2691-calibrated-nose-weight-gauge-caravan-trailer) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
