These canvas boards were perfect for this, being a little more than 50 cents per canvas, and making for some fun pictures. One interesting, and somewhat unexpected thing about these canvases is that every other one is wrapped in cellophane. I'm sure this is to keep them from sticking to each other, but it was both weird and helpful that it was every other canvas. Weird because you'd expect that every canvas would be treated the same. Helpful because we only needed about 12 of them, and so didn't have to agonize over helping each kid unwrap their canvas before they could start. These worked great for the kids, and were just the right size. They also seemed to absorb and display the paint wonderfully, as we'd hoped.
