It looks to be well made also. The noise level got better than after I replaced the old contactor. I like to replace my contactor every 3/4 years so I'll try to update. Review: Easy install...screw holes align up to mount...accommodates different wire connections. - Bolted right up on my 3 ton Goodman unit--mounting holes match. Nice as it has both types of connections for 220vac side--take your pick: (1) insert wire and pinch with a screw type and (2) standard HVAC lug push-on connectors (faston). My unit had (1) for the incoming power and (2) for the outgoing power. The 24vac coil lines are standard fastons. Nice and quiet operation. The old would buzz (even when new) ## Features - 2 Year Replacement Policy - 40 FLA Amp Rating - 2 Pole - 24 Volt Coil. That would mean a coil resistance of 1K ohms. The measured resistance of the coil (sample of one) is 13.7 ohms. The current at 24 volts would be about 1.75A. This is likely the greatest load on the controller circuit, and explains the 3A fuse. **Q: Will this replace cr453ce3hblay contactor?** A: It was a correct fit for my 26 year old AC unit. Has worked well for the past two years since I installed it. **Q: Does this replace DP24024F?** A: Just from the part number you gave: DP is Double Pole, 240 is 240 volt rated for the main contacts, 24 is 24volts control voltage, F: I don't know what that means to whatever company sells that. But this will switch any heavy load up to 40 amps, up to 240volts. Normally for air conditioning compressors, but you could use it to switch much smaller loads as long as you've got 24volts to switch it with. **Q: I need to replace: ac relay 1 hp 115/230 volts ac i ph - 25 amp type pr5ay - 25v 50/60c potter brumfield. this works?** A: Yes. Just as long as you wire everything you needed. Problem is it's a 40 amps relay and you wants to protect a 25 amps circuit. Better to look for a 25 amps relay contact switch. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A - OK *by J***. on May 14, 2024* I used it on my 3 ton ac unit all spring/summer 2024 it worked good no problems at all. The old would buzz (even when new) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Did it myself and saved $$$, great product. *by K***S on April 22, 2020* Furnace blew 3amp low voltage fuse when switching air conditioner on for the first hot day in spring. Trouble shot it down to the contactor on the outside unit. This one not only had the same mounting bracket, but it had two screw down main voltage connection points that made a significantly stronger connection than the slide style terminal ends on the old contactor. After changing the contactor, I replaced the fuse and put all the panels back on. Worked perfectly since then. ## Frequently Bought Together - Migro 2 Pole 40 AMP Heavy Duty AC Contactor Replaces Virtually All Residential 2 Pole Models (2- Year Warranty-High Quality Silver Alloy Content Contactors) - BOJACK 1 Poles FLA 40 Amp Coil 24 VAC Air Conditioner Condenser Compressor Contactor AC Definite Purpose Contactor - BOJACK 2 Poles FLA 40 Amp Coil 24 VAC Air Conditioner Condenser Compressor Contactor AC Definite Purpose Contactor --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/141837418-migro-2-pole-40-amp-heavy-duty-24vac-contactor-replaces](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/141837418-migro-2-pole-40-amp-heavy-duty-24vac-contactor-replaces) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-11-03*
