A: Absolutely, I’ve used it for that and also for natural gas and gasoline with excellent results.

A: It can be used immediately.

**Q: I need to connect npt threaded stainless steel male fitting to a plastic female inlet on a water filter. t plus 2 or tru-blu or another sealant?**
A: I typically don’t use anything but Teflon tape on any plastic fittings. Chemicals in liquid or paste sealants could soften the plastic.

**Q: Can this be used on gasoline fuel lines**
A: Yes. The Product Document Sheet says it is suitable for use with gasoline, both leaded and unleaded.
