However, for a 30,000 hour lifespan, it will last for 20 years if the projector is used for 4 hours per day. **Q: I was told there was a firmware update to disable the auto on/off feature. Does anyone know how to update the firmware on this thing?** A: Yes. I tried to go through the Projector's settings for a firmware update. That didn't work for the update, as it stayed at v. 1.03. The best way is to go to the Home Menu then "Aptoid" App store, then System category and BIOS/Firmware OTA Update.
