## Description

The COSMOS C700P Black Edition extends further than its matte black coating, comprised of internal and external improvements upon the original. The PSU Shroud, flat radiator brackets, fine mesh panels, cable cover system, and an extra rear panel are all included to advance the COSMOS’ modular origins. While the panels and bars exhibit a pitch-black theme, the curved tempered glass possesses a lighter tint in comparison to the original. Builds enjoy a panoramic view through the dual-curved tempered glass, utilizing an arsenal of accessories at hand. Raising the Bar(s) in the COSMOS C700P Black Edition means more out-of-the-box parts to build an out-of-this-world rig.

Review: Huge upgrade over the original C700P, they've addressed all the complaints - Amazing Build Quality. I have had the flagship Cooler Master HAF-X case since the day it was released in 2010. It is now 2019 and after upgrading my first gen i7 990x to the new i9 9900k, new motherboard, ram, and gpu I figured it was time to upgrade the case as well. I loved the original cosmos 2 when it came out in 2012-2013 but I felt the $350 for the case with no side window in 2013 was too much. Now a lot more cases are around the $300 mark due to inflation and what not. Plus cases have better features nowadays. I was stuck between the c700m and c700p. I hated the silver on both, and hated the fact that the c700m was $500 although I love the front rgb lights on the c700m. So when I saw this black edition c700p was coming out it was a no brainer as it was only $50 more than the original c700p. They addressed every single complaint with the original c700p. The power supply and hard drive cage shroud on the original c700p looked terrible, it covered most of the pc. I like how they changed it in the black. They made it just a full one piece power supply shroud that covers the whole bottom so you can hide your cables. I also hide my dual bay pump/reservoir since I didn't have enough room to fit it in the dual bay slot because of my reservoir. They fixed the tint on the side panel. The original c700p had a dark green tinted side panel that was hard to see through. With this side panel it's so clear that it doesn't look like there's even a side panel on. They give you 4 hard drive cages, as well as 4 ssd cages that are already installed. Whereas the original only had the few ssd cages and 2 hard drive cages. My only complaint is that I have a 360mm rad in the front that was intaking air and it would case the fans to be much louder because there is almost no ventilation to the front fans because of the front cover plus the dust cover. I took the dust cover out and the fans were still much louder. I just ended up swapping the fans the opposite direction so they blow air out of the front of the case. I have fit 4 radiators in here. 360mm radiator up top, 360mm radiator up front, 240mm next to the motherboard, and a 120mm radiator towards the rear. If you are running push/pull with a radiator up top you will need to use slim 120x15mm fans for the top of the radiator otherwise the top dust filter wont close. I learned that the hard way because all of my fans are 120x25mm. So I'm going to order some noctua 120mmx15mm slim fans to add push/pull to the top radiator. The stock rgb wave sequence of the case is nice however I decided to keep the rgb to a minimum after seeing how good everything looked in all blue. So I plugged the included rgb header to my motherboard and now I have the case lights doing a pulsing blue which matches the build much better. You are able to set static colors from the case light button as well. The included fan controller was a bonus as you can plug in six 3 or 4 pin fans. The only issue is there are only two speed options on the case, high and low which will either run the fans at 12v(100%) or 7v which is about 60%. You can get better control by plugging your fans into your motherboard fan headers and adjusting it through software if your motherboard supports that. Plus I have to stand up every time to reach the fan speed button on top of the case. The side panels on this case are a dream, they are magnetic and you can take them off the case in a matter of seconds, you just open the side panel all the way and slide it up and it comes right off. No tools required. All in all this case is absolutely amazing. I thought my haf x case was big, being an e atx case. But this case is definitely a few inches taller and longer. It's great because it gives you a ton of room for watercooling or even air cooling if you're into that lmao. You could honestly mount another radiator where I have my reservoir in the pics and then just mount the reservoir on any of the radiators. So you can fit another 240mm radiator if you wanted, or maybe even a 360mm. So many options with this case. I had a porsche hood crest from a spare hood from my car so I decided why not put it on lmao. Although I think the colors ruin the blacked out look of this case, maybe I'll by a blacked out porsche hood crest :^) Specs: CPU: Intel i9-9900k @ 5.2ghz Motherboard: Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master GPU: Evga RTX 2080 Ti @ 2040mhz Core, 7900mhz Mem RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 32GB 3000mhz @ CL13 Cooling: 2x XSPC 360mm Radiators, XSPC 240mm Radiator, EK 120mm Radiator 10x 120mm Fans Storage: 1TB Samsung 970 Evo Plus NVME, 250gb Samsung 950 Pro NVME Silicon Power 480GB SSD, 2x Intel 530 180GB SSD, 4TB Seagate 7200rpm HDD 2x 2TB Seagate 7200rpm HDD, 1TB Seagate 7200rpm HDD Audio: Asus Xonar Essence STX Sound Card Little dot 1+ Hybrid tube amp with upgraded burson V5 op-amps and Russian Voskod 1940s tubes Grado RS2e Headphones Monitor: LG 32'' IPS 4K HDR (32ud99-w) Keyboard: Razer Cynosa Chroma Pro Mouse: Razer Deatheradder Elite SKT T1 Edition Mousepad: Razer Goliathus Chroma Case: Cooler Master C700P Black Edition
Review: Amazing, but expeensive - God d*** this case is expensive, but if you want complete control, a full tower, are an enthusiast, but don’t like the look a black metal box, then it’s perfect. This is the perfect example of “I’m getting it because I love it, not because it is in any way practical.” There are plenty of full towers at half or quarter the cost making them more practical, but NONE of them look this good IMO. PROS: - it’s beautiful - comes with amazing front io (4x3.0, 1x3.1 USB C) - comes with DRGB controller and fan controller (minimizes plugs and cables running to board), rgb on case looks amazing btw. - completely customizable. EVERYTHING comes out and can be unscrewed with basic tools. - super water cooler friendly (max 420mm radiator) - super easy to remove sides and get to what you need to get to. - amazing cable management options. CONS: - HEAVY. By itself, it’s like 30-40lbs. - Hard to find. No one really carries it. - accessories are hard to find. (Since no one carries it) - top RGB lights on work with front panel attached. So if you like the look of just the mesh, then you have to sacrifice the top rgb. They should have just ran another rgb cable to the top instead of whatever they did. - only comes with 2 radiator/fan brackets. There’s one on the top and one on the front, so you have to order another one if you want full control over water cooling, but no one sells the parts so you have to pick having top/front fans or mounting stuff to the bottom rails.) Honestly, I started unscrewing things then realized “oh, this comes out too?” And my 2 hour build turned into 10 hours. So just be ready to have complete control. Sometimes it’s overwhelming. Not trying to shill, i’ve just built in a lot of constraining cases where I spend more time figuring out how I CAN build it and less time on how I WANT to build it. This case does not have that problem.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is anyone experiencing issues mounting the HD audio cable on the mobo with this case?**
A: I didn't really have an issue.

**Q: How many ssd will this hold without purchasing extra caddies (which don’t seem to be available in the US, according to others reviews)?**
A: You can store up to 2 Sata SSD on the back of the motherboard panel. Sata HDD you can store up to 12 if you manage to find more caddies.

**Q: When two 5,25" drives are installed the front fan bracket doesn't fit. Are there CM options for an alternative shorter front fan mount made available?**
A: No there is not. And you cant get any parts for this thing even if there was as cooler master will not actually sell you anything for it.
And they will not send you any missing parts either. I have been trying for 5 months to get fan brackets as mine came with non!!!!

**Q: Just got case. Can’t get fan or lights to turn on. Anyone know how to get it to work?**
A: My lights took a bit to figure out. You need to plug the fan and light stuff into that board on the right side (when facing front of case) inside the door. Then give that thing power from your PSU. Then I think you hook up the wire FROM that board into your motherboard. I had it working perfect for a while, but at some point my lights came on and stuck that way. I will fix it eventually, but I have a feeling the lights on this thing are kind of hit or miss. I personally don’t like the lights so I don’t really care much. Oh and there is a button on the top front on the right side that controls the lights. It’s actually an up/down dual button thing. If you hold it for like less than 10 seconds it should toggle it on or off. The up/down toggles through built in modes/colors. I think the top most option is what allows your motherboard to actually control it, but it may be the bottom most, not 100% sure. Check the cooler master pdf of the instructions to see a picture of how that board should work. Do the same for your motherboard to see where to connect the fans and lights. Good luck.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A VERY GOOD FULL-TOWER COMPUTER CASE
*by J***T on August 10, 2019*

The Cooler Master "Cosmos" C700M full-tower case is, to my eyes, a beautiful thing to behold - sleek, powerful design which is - admittedly - heavy but designed to be carried with its two handles at its top. Anyone looking to buy this case is more than likely familiar with assembling their own computer, and therefore able to figure out how best to install their components as they would like into this case, which allows a wide range of installation possibilities. I find it to be very quiet in operation, and its glass door allows easy access to the inside of the case for cleaning and inspection. This case also seems to be quite effective at filtering out dust, the enemy of all computers. I rate it highly for its design and quality of materials. The assembly-instruction diagrams which come with the case can be a bit daunting to interpret, so you have to rely on your own visual skills to figure out just what the possibilities are with respect to configuring the layout of your case to fit your needs. This size of tower case is essential for anyone using large, complex graphics cards like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti I installed. I also like the way the power supply and its cabling is neatly mounted in a compartment below the main board and graphics card and hidden from view, yet is readily accessible. I am glad I did my homework by doing a Google search for "best computer tower cases for 2019," which came up with this particular case being listed as the #1 recommendation in the Full Tower category.
