Buttons are for decoration, material is light like linen and has lovely spaghetti straps with a stretchy part at the back. Sizes are confusing. I am a UK size 8 and wear a 32B bra and this was my second dress I tried as I ordered a S and am XS. S was too big round the back. XS fits perfectly. I would go with the measurements on the chart rather than the S,M,L etc.. over all. Very nice and gorgeous colour and length

A very good fit. I’m 5’3 9st and bought a medium. Liked the adjustable straps, fit and flare gives “tummy “ space, and like that you can take off the tie bit to suit a bra. Lining enough not to see through too much, but nice and light for summer too. Material had a couple of bits of unfinished cotton hanging. Not ironed the middle bit where I have untied the tie yet, hope it looks ok! Will order another one that’s for sure!
