The pads themselves are clear and stick well—they don’t shift or peel off easily, even when the furniture gets moved around a bit. They definitely do what they’re meant to do: spread out the weight so the carpet doesn’t get those deep marks. Where I ran into an issue was with the little spikes on the bottom. They’re designed to grab into the carpet, which makes sense, but I found them a bit longer than I’d like. On softer carpet, they push in fine, but on a shorter pile rug they can feel excessive and almost like they’re trying to pierce through more than they should. It doesn’t ruin the functionality, but it’s something to be aware of depending on your flooring type.
