**Q: Is this mic considered "uhf or vhf?"**
A: Since this system operates between 530.025 and 559.000 MHz, this would be considered a UHF microphone system (the UHF band covers radio frequencies from 300 to 3,000 MHz).  VHF systems operate at lower frequencies, between 30-300 MHz.  With any wireless system, you need to be mindful of other systems operating in the same range.  I have not had a lot of trouble with interference.
