She has been skating for the last year but has been having increased problems in the lower ankle speed boots (constant pronation). She likes the speed skates with both 3 and 4 wheels of 84-90mm wheels but 4x84mm was a bit heavy for any distance/duration and 3x90 increased the pronation thus reducing the distance/duration she could comfortably skate. Unfortunately, adjustments to the frame positions didn't help significantly with the pronation. But she loves to go fast and refused to wear smaller wheels (64-72mm) most common on kids skates. Long and short, she needed some ankle support until she can build up the strength and balance to rock the speed boots for longer periods and distances. These skates fit the bill perfectly and she has put in hours of skating around the house since they arrived and is excited for the skate rinks to open back up or the weather to cool off enough to skate outside.
