## Description

Legend has it that this intense, smoky black tea from the Fujian Province was the result of an accidental drying of the leaves in haste over pine fires. The rejected tea eventually ended up being traded to the Dutch, who sang its praises and requested more. Thus, this unforgettably peaty, pungent tea came into being, and subsequently, worldwide admiration.

Review: The best organic Lapsang Souchong - I like this organic Lapsang Souchong tea. It hits the right balance on the smokiness range, (a 5 out of 10). If you steep 11/2 teaspoons of the tea for 7 minutes, you will get a good cup! It is strong without giving one the jitters, - a nice choice for mid-afternoon sleepy fits ! Good value for money, too!
Review: Chinese Lapsang Souchong - This is very nice Lapsang! The smoky flavour is potent, and the tea tastes fresh! Perfect for chilly, rainy, cozy days.
