The price of 1 was only 2 or 3 dollars less than the 2-pack so I expected poor quality on the 2-pack. I was pleasantly surprised to see all three hats were exactly the same... materials, fit, and quality...While the hat does not fit my needs, the quality of the hat is amazing, and a comfortable fit. My head is 22 inches (or 56 cm) and it had a snug, but not tight hold. I did not believe the wind would blow it off. Very comfortable. My ponytail fit through and was comfortable, with or without a hair-tie. I tend to have my ponytail (and messy bun) closer to the crown of my head rather than lower to my neck. If you keep your ponytail about 2 to 2.5 inches from your bottom hairline, this will be perfect for you. The brim on the hat is about 3.25” all the way around.Even with all those positive comments, I decided to return the hat. I will be going on a cruise in the Caribbean next year and am searching for a ponytail hat with a wider brim to protect me from sunburn, and where I can leave my ponytail in my regular position. I am a red head with skin that burns easily, blisters, then turns white again. Yes, they did arrive with sever folding seams on them. I turned on my iron to the highest setting, and wet the brim thoroughly. Then I went to ironing them very well. The fabric is very strong and wont burn. I used a steamer on the top of the hat and now they are prefect. I bought them because I have skin cancer on my face. They are light, comfortable, and great for the wind.
