I would imagine that it will be perfectly compatible as it would be economic and brand management madness not to have the Hoselock accessories totally interchangeable. I am sorry that I cannot be of greater assistance. I should add that we have quite a few of these Gardena products and they really do merit their 5-star rating. Happy gardening! Wade Lewis **Q: What additional components, if any, are necessary to use this? Do you need an extra length to the tap, for example?** A: Yeah, you’ll need an extra length, plus the hose connectors for it. A compatible attachment for your tap and then whatever sprayer/sprinkler you’d like to use on the included accessories. My honest opinion - don’t bother. The amount of times the connector hose has come off the side attachment is ridiculous. Gardena weren’t any help. You can’t breathe near it without it coming loose, let alone reel out some extra hose when needed. If you can, I’d get the medium one, the reel connectors seem far better thought out. **Q: Do the wheels lock?** A: No way to lock wheels. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good hose at a decent price *by J***S on 28 April 2025* Bought a a replacement for a cheaper make we’d bought that was useless. This hose and Carrier is far superior. Easy to put together and sturdy. Warning though, you do need extra connectors that aren’t in the box ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just the Job *by C***W on 29 May 2025* Quality is just what I expected easy to assemble everything you need just remember to buy a full hose from the tap to the reel ha I bought for our Bosch power washer and is absolutely first class ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well enough, but the hose which came with it is useless. *by F*** on 15 July 2025* Works well enough, it's not very sturdy when you're winding the hosepipe in, though, so you do have to put your foot on the bottom bar to keep it in position. I like the handy little horse connector, so whilst you wind it squeezes the hosepipe and all excess water comes out of the little spout on the side. My only issue is the hosepipe that came with it, it's so cheap and useless, it doesn't coil and has got so many kinks in it that we ended up using the one we had already, apart from that, it does work well. ## Frequently Bought Together - Cart Aquaroll S (boxed) with 20 m Classic Hose 13 mm (1/2") Original Gardena System Parts And Lance Spray, G18502-50 - Gardena Connection Set Classic, 13 mm (1/2 inch), 1.5 m: Hose Adapter for Connection to The Hose Trolley (18011-20) - Gardena Classic Multi Sprayer: Garden Sprayer for Watering beds and Potted Plants, Three Spray Patterns, Frost Protection, Single-Hand Operation (18313-20) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/137875945-gardena-cleverroll-s-hose-trolley-set-hose-trolley-with-20m](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/137875945-gardena-cleverroll-s-hose-trolley-set-hose-trolley-with-20m) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
