I leave these trail cams up and running 24/7 365 days a year. After the first year, the straps that cam with the trail cam had degraded due to constant exposure to the elements. And while these replacement straps worked just fine, I'm also starting to see them degrade due to the constant exposure to the sun and rain and extreme temperatures. So, if you use these only specific times of the year... they'll probably work just fine for you.
