Review: This thing is actually really nice - So I bought this on a whim. I was tired of the shakers. It seems like every shaker I buy just doesn't seal well either immediately or over a short period of time. I always seem to find out in a white shirt and its a red amino supplement I'm shaking. To be honest i gave up on shakers and have been using an emulsifier with either a whisk or other attachment. I got this on a whim of "its less than $30 and dudes appear to not be overly hyped." I'm gonna change that with this review. Dude, I don't even use the lid. (No shaker fails at the wrong time, check). I use it each morning and after each workout for recovery. The lid literally sits next to the Ikea mat i dry this on everyday. I push the button after adding water just under the 14oz mark. I add my Orgain (2 scoops) and Amino energy (2 scoops). Usually the vortex stops after the protein powder. And that is because I'm slow or distracted for a second. phone, vitamins, blah. Anyway.. I push it again to add the amino mix. It blends up perfect (NO RANDOM CHUNKS, CHECK). It blends so well that it froths up one flavor of the protein powder, i don't mind. I just add another 12oz of water when finished and swirl again. Gone. I've had this all December 2023, it's the 26th. I've charged it when i first got it. Everyday, triple spin on one use, and twice a day three/four times a week. So i hit that button 30+ times a week. 4 weeks deep and on the same charge. Yeah, how about that. Now cleaning. I hand wash it with just water after each use and then a dawn power spray stuff every other day. It's clean. It takes about a minute to rinse it. This isn't complicated or a pain. I literally just wash it while washing my hands. Needless to say my shaker things are all in the recycling bin. Never again. I can trust this thing. The cool colors would be nice or some RGB lights to up the aesthetics or something. But i have the plain old lowest priced, entry level black one. Priorities first and i was skeptical. It works. Buy it. And buy yourself the cool colors and jazzed up version. Do as instructed and it just makes life easier. ****2 Month Update**** Still going strong. I found it does slow down mixing with other, thicker, protein powders (eg Equate Organic Protein from Walmart). But it still stirs it up. Battery life is still pleasantly good maybe not as lasting as before. But I'll also add that others in the house have been using it. Still just as stoked about it as when i first got it. I want another one but don't need one. I can say that others in the house may need to get their own.
Review: tl;dr Genuinely fantastic product that is the best shaker & value you can get. (Shaker, not blender) - This review is long overdue as I've had these products for a good 6 months now. First off, don't put the rechargeable base in the fridge/freezer and screw it up like I did. However, since that wasn't initially listed technically, the VOLTRX team sent me a replacement with free expedited shipping of any model of my choosing. Especially for desertcart lately, that's pretty great customer service. Then I bought a second one which (My fault!) I chipped at the bottom because I am reckless with these things, and it doesn't stay locked in now. Still spins, but I gotta hold it while I'm using it. So now I am buying 2 more because I am OCD and want different colors for smoothie/juices, coffee, or other. This is the best mixer/shaker I have tried out of almost a dozen over the past several years. People need to understand this is NOT a Blender, it is a shaker. If you want a hand-held *blender* then go pay $50-100 more for a Ninja or something that has sharp blades. That being said, this mixes protein drinks, smoothies, coffee, even yogurt/ice cream when it's softer. It's powerful, charges fast, lasts a while, it's easy to clean, and a great product overall. My only 'gripe' would be that there are seemingly two models that only vary by the size of the twist-lock on the bottom, and you'll get one or the other. Premium or VortexBoost, but not a huge deal if you care for your items properly (I do not, that is on me...) Happy to get a couple more and I am happy to see out of the slew of knockoff & spam companies from China that overwhelm desertcart, there are still good companies out there. desertcart TIP: Make sure you're buying from desertcart.com or 'VOLTRX Direct' from Hong Kong specifically, that's their official legit company.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It actually works!
*by M***N on September 26, 2026*

THIS! This is how a protein blender should work. My lunch-at-work shake is quickly and efficiently combined and I love it. Nice drinking spout, with a secure cover. Don’t mess around with other mixers, this is the one. Thank you!
