The instructions are clear and they provide two design templates that you can use. I adapted mine a bit, but found the suggestions helpful. I wasn't satisfied with how I placed one of the stickers so I pulled it up and tried again. It seems just as secure as the rest. I purchased the clear stickers and I'm very satisfied with how it looks. I took a bath today and though I thought it might be uncomfortable, it was just fine. I can't speak to how this will wear over time, but the package has clear instruction on how to reach the manufacturer. That to me means that the manufacturer stands behind their product. It wasn't a big investment so if it needs to be reapplied in a year or two, that would be fine too. Good slip retardant and they look good. I applied them on my shower floor in a ray pattern toward the drain. Eventually the adhesive began to break down so I need new ones.
