It is a 1:25 not 1:24 scale model.This Car was also previously released by ERTL, in a 1:64, 1:25 and 1:18 scale.Not much difference in the JL versions.The 1:25 scales have opening hoods only, doors and trunk are sealed shut.Johnny Lightning added the "White Lightning and Lightning Strike".The White lightning features White Wheels and a White engine.The Lightning Strikes features body paint matching Orange Wheels.Both are Highly collectible Diecast Car.White Lightnings are produced at the Rate of 2% total production.That makes them hard to find and Rare.While these cars are ment for retail sale, you may never see one on the shelf.Their value is not lost on store merchants or clerks who stock these items.Most find their way straight to collectors through one avenue or another.The Dukes of Hazzard General Lee is a beautiful diecast in common form, however for "curb appeal" the "White Lightnings" are the "cream of the crop".As for Value, White Lightnings like diamonds fluctuate with the market.If you are a "serious collector", This is a must have.Television cars have always been popular diecast models.This is a good model to own Regular or White lightning.Tips: 1. Great car! Very detailed and authentic to the duke's car on the tv show. Coloration is vibrant and eye catching! One problem: the scale of the car is just too small for my taste as i wanted it for my display with my larger scaled models. It's now displayed in my guest room and is well received by all who rest there. A nice piece of southern nostalgia.

My 7 year old grandson loved this toy. It is just as described. I know he will have lots of fun and hours of play with this. The re-runs of Dukes of Hazzard are on TV where he lives, and that's his favorite program, so he was thrilled to get this for Christmas in 2014. Some of the reviews I saw of this, said the tires were orange when they received theirs. This one was black just like the box advertised. Great toy.

Many vehicles of various scales are interchangeable in the minds of children, and which ones will be "special" naturally vary from kid to kid.If yours likes the General Lee, this is a good compromise of build quality and detail versus durability and cost. It is "fun to play with" as an 8-year-old boy who has several versions of this vehicle from different manufacturers has said.The hood and trunk open, the wheels turn of course, but for the most part this is a simple "use your imagination" toy. As a parent, I like that. It's not an R/C toy, it doesn't have buttons for a Dixie horn, nothing of that kind. And that's okay.Half a dozen plastic-shell toys with bells and whistles ascended to '69 Charger heaven long, long ago.This one has a paint chip here and there, but is all the more loved for that.

I bought this item as a Christmas gift for my daughter. She's 14 yrs. old and a big Dukes of Hazzard fan. She was amazed as to me finding this product. The only disappointment she had was there were no license plates on it. Otherwise she loved it.

Looks just like the photo, and has the weight of a die-cast toy. I don't plan on taking out of the box, so I can't give too many details about it, but the packaging is sharp.

I ordered this cute little car online as a birthday gift for my husband. It looks just like it appeared online: the hood opens (and stays open) and the colour and flag all look like the original. Note this is not the deluxe collector's edition of the car (hence the lower price), but it looks mighty good in a display case and makes a nice gift.

Great car, good weight to it feels sturdy. My little boy loved it.

Era nella lista dei "desiderata" di mio marito da diverso tempo, perciò è stato felicissimo del regalo, ma ha subito segnalato un errore, a suo parere molto grave: la parte anteriore, dove i fanali dovrebbero essere nascosti in un frontale nero, è invece cromata (e questo non si vede finché la scatola non viene aperta). Inoltre la costruzione sembra approssimativa, con ruote troppo "ballerine".

L oggetto è fatto bene peccato non sia proprio uguale alla macchina del film (mancanza specchietti esterni , fanaleria anteriore bianca al posto che nera cerchioni ruote). Il prezzo piu basso tra altri prodotti simili comunque lo trovo non rispecchiare il reale valore della macchinina che secondo me si aggira sulla decina di euro.Potevano fare di meglio a minor costo...puntualità amazon da manuale come al solito.

Modellino davvero ben fatto nei dettagli.Arrivato in perfette condizioni! Solo per chi crede che le portiere si aprano: non è così. A dirla tutta è giusto che sia così perchè nella serie TV i cugini Duke entravano dal finestrino!
