But if I would have had more of a pooch I would have definitely exchanged it for an XL.I bought this for sun protection while snorkeling in Hawaii, and I’m fairly pale, and it worked great. I didn’t burn at all. And the long sleeves were great for keeping me warm while snorkeling in the early morning when the water was still a bit chilly. I wanted a nice rash guard for when I snorkel. I was skeptical at first since it does run small. But I wanted a snug fit. I am 5'3, 175lbs, larger bust 36D. I ordered an xl and it fits great, tighter and snug, but that's how I wanted it. It is good length wise, doesn't run up your hips or back when you move. The material has a good thickness to it. I was worried it would very thin but it just right.
