Wasn't expecting very much because of the low, very affordable price, but these boots are lovely and very, very versatile. All the say from rather formal/dressy to quite sexy. Review: Nice shoes, but they run small and don't offer 1/2 sizes - These shoes run small. I tried on three pairs and I couldn't find the right size, I imagine because they don't make 1/2 sizes in this model. I normally wear a size 9 regular width in tennis shoes (like Vans and Adidas), and I usually have to go down to an 8-1/2 or even an 8 when I buy boots. I tried the size 8, 9, and 10. The 9 was a little too small, and the 10 was OK but I noticed that they felt a little roomy and like I had big feet when I looked in the mirror. Otherwise this is a very nice shoe and was exactly what I was looking for. I like the plain black style and the fact that there is no boot strap (I find that the boot strap interferes with cuffs when sitting and standing). I don't think that the shoe is excessively narrow, it's just that the sizing is a little more like sneakers than boots. I'm not surprised that the 10 was too big, but I was a little surprised that I couldn't wear the 9.
