I used all of the equipment that came with it, to Include sand in the sandbags to make the poles more sturdy We even bought better tiedowns to keep the legs in place, but it’s just not built strong enough to handle a storm wasn’t even a big storm, but the wind in the rain were just too much for the polls. I wasn’t expecting a miracle but I had hoped it would last at least a season. If you’re looking for something to keep the bugs out for a couple hours this might work for you if you’re looking for something to keep you dry and the bugs out you might wanna look for something more sturdy. Later that same day, it just rained that’s the third picture Review: Don't go by the video. 2nd Review - SECOND YEAR OWNERSHIP: DO NOT BUY THIS NO MATTER HOW MUCH THEY MARK IT DOWN. I just took my canopy out of storage. Had it nearly packed away in the nice case it comes with. I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED 😞 Yes, the frame is very sturdy and nice. HOWEVER..... The fabric this is made of fires not hold up, it gets sun rot from just one Summers use. Fabric becomes hard and brittle and tears as easily as a 90 year olds frail skin. There are no replacement canopys for this product. Sad sad sad....I was so excited about this and enjoyed it my first Summer. I do not live in an area of harsh sun exposure. I live in the mostly overcast NE section of rural New York. FIRST YEAR OWNERSHIP: It's the Nicest and sturdiness gazebo tent I've ever seen. Frame is HEAVY which is good but makes it hard to maneuver. Don't believe how easy it looks in the video. Written instructions are not helpful. Maybe due to a language barrier. Took 3 of us and a ladder to get the job done. 🤣 ## Features - INSTANT SETUP & PORTABLE DESIGN: Quick pop up assembly in minutes with no tools required. It does look more permanent, but unfolds like a giant umbrella. It has weathered several Michigan storms in the two years we’ve owned it. Highly recommend attaching sand bags or weights to corners for high winds. It is easy to take down and put up, takes up little room to store (about 4’ x 2’ x 2’). It’s a great gazebo with good customer service if you have questions! **Q: Does the gazebo remain dry underneath in the rain? Specs say fabric is “water resistant”; also wondered if rain came in through the vent.** A: No. The vented top allows rain in, and there are also grommets near the base of the larger top piece that do a good job of keeping water from collecting but also allow water inside. Not a solution if you're looking for this to keep you dry. **Q: Do I have to put the covering on and off each time I use it or will it fold with the supports to be put back in the case?** A: Thanks for the question, the cover can fold with supports/frames together and put back in the carry bag. But if the cover gets rained, better keep dry first, then put in. **Q: Is the frame 11x11?** A: Thanks for the question, the top frame size is 11x11 ft, the leg base is 10x10 ft. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Didn’t last 2wks… *by K***M on June 23, 2026* I gave it two stars, as opposed to one only because it looked like it might handle the first storm, and it was relatively easy to put together less than two weeks of having it and the first storm pretty much bent the supports (see pics). Besides the fact that the mosquito netting has gaps, so doesn’t even keep mosquitoes out because all that keeps it. Attached is a rope in loops. You also cannot tie the pole cover to the actual pole unless the mosquito net is opened all the way which leaves those covers just blowing around. I bought this for my business for the off chance that there would be slight rain or wind at an event and there is still eyelets in the top canopy so multiple holes where water can just drip through and are for literally nothing.. There is also no way to actually keep the mosquito net in place and on the ground so it blows with the wind I suppose maybe if you used the sandbags on the pole you could position it so it laid on the netting but it still doesn’t stop the center part from blowing in or out. The instructions also were not easy to follow. I ended up resorting to YouTube to try to find a tutorial and still couldn’t find a decent one. All I found were reviews. This is not something I can use. I don’t recommend purchasing unless you plan on buying setting up and never taking it back down. ## Frequently Bought Together - COOS BAY 11x11 Pop Up Instant Gazebo Tent with Mosquito Netting Outdoor Canopy Shelter with 121 Square Feet of Shade (Beige) - MASTERCANOPY 100lbs Canopy Weight Sandbags,Without Sand (7"x18",Black) - Outdoor String Lights 25 Feet G40 Globe LED Patio Lights with 13 Edison Plastic Bulbs(1 Spare), Waterproof Connectable Hanging Lights for Backyard Porch Balcony Party Decor, E12 Socket Base, Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/133772299-coos-bay-11x11-pop-up-gazebo-with-netting-canopy-tent](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/133772299-coos-bay-11x11-pop-up-gazebo-with-netting-canopy-tent) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
