**Q: Why does King Arthur not test their organic products for glyphosate?**
A: Diz's family didn't spray Round-up  on their wheat fields years ago in South Dakota, but  it is a proven fact that many wheat  & other grains farmers do spray Round-up in some parts of the country today. King Arthur's regular bread flour was tested for the Center for Environmental Health 8-18 and it had 1386 ppb glyphosate.   Many organic food products are found to contain glyphosate when tested.  I am hesitant to spend double the money on organic flour when it might have glyphosate. King Arthur states that synthetic herbicides are prohibited in organic farms, so you'd think they would pay for a test to reassure consumers.  They must be  afraid of finding out something they don't want us to know.

**Q: is artisan flour superior for making pizza dough?**
A: It depends on the type of crust you're looking to achieve. If you prefer a chewier crust, a bread flour, such as this, would be a great option as it has a nice, high protein level of 12.7%. If you prefer a lighter, crispier crust, a lower protein flour such as all-purpose or Italian style 00 would be ideal. Happy baking! Annabelle@KAF

**Q: Does this have "folic acid" listed in the ingredient panel?**
A: Folic acid is not listed on the package. It says it has organic wheat flour and organic malted barley flour. A 30g portion yields 4% RDA fiber and 2% RDA iron. I use this flour to make varius types of breads, sometimes adding a little other flour (potato, quinoa, or other), and herbs. The breads are consistently excellent, and I hear many positive comments from people upon their first taste. In my opinion, King Arthur sells great flours.If you want/need folate in your breads, you could shred some fresh spinach and add it. I have made "spinach bread", and it has a wonderful flavor, and of course the added benefit of all the nutrients in spinach. Rosemary, basic, oregano and marjoram are also high-folate ingredients you can add to breads (try a garlic-rosemary-basil loaf.... delicious!). Folate is the bioavailable natural form of vitamin B9, while folic acid is the synthetic form of the vitamin.

**Q: What is the expiration date?**
