That's fourteen months ago! There are only two possibilities here. Pellini either knowingly shipped me stale coffee, or they shipped it not knowing it was stale. Neither of these options are acceptable. (A friend of mine says "In Italy they would put you in jail for that.") Because Pellini is a family owned company ("now at its fourth generation") I never imagined they would sell coffee that is "best by" two years after the roast date. Do you think the Pellini family serves their family and friends stale espresso? I doubt it. It can't be returned, so I'm stuck with it.
