Great fit! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great replacement for OEM *by M***K on March 30, 2021* Exterior of original pads was flaking off pretty badly, so I replaced with these. Installation was pretty easy - it takes a bit to get them in place, but they fit just as well as the original. Very comfortable, can't say they feel much different. All in all a solid replacement for the OEM pads. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great factory-like replacement for worn-out padding. *by R***O on April 21, 2020* I bought these along with a new set of Sennheiser HD280 headphones because they were quite a bit less than the factory-replacement which cost more than half of a new set. I didn't want to spend $50 on padding when in the past, my aging HD280's started to break where the ear-cups extend. Overall, it is just better to replace the whole unit. But the price of these pads made it attractive to fix up my old pair and get what use I can out of them until they fail. The padding feels and works like the original. It is very comfortable. The only difference with the ear pads is that the material that holds them to the ear cups is quite a bit thinner and appears much less durable. At first I thought it might be due hardened plastic due to age but when I compared it to the ones on my new set, that is not the case. Only time will tell how well they will hold up under normal use. Still, given the price difference, I won't complain. The ear cups are a little bit of a challenge stretching the plastic over and into the slot. The company provides directions. Start on a narrow end and work it around. Be patient and careful. I had to work it around about 1 1/4 times before the pads were fastened properly. After that, they seem to work fine and the original comfort is restored. The top pad installs very easily. Overall, we are very satisfied with this product and its price. ## Frequently Bought Together - SCR Pads Compatible with Sennheiser HD280 Earpads and Headband Pad Kit Replacement for HD 280 (PRO) HMD280 Ear Pads Headphones Cushion Padding Black (Earpads & Headband Kit) - Sennheiser HD 280 Pro Headphone, Black - Hermitshell Hard Travel Case for Sennheiser HD 280 Pro Headphone --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/131441888-pads-compatible-with-sennheiser-hd280-earpads-and-headband-pad-kit](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/131441888-pads-compatible-with-sennheiser-hd280-earpads-and-headband-pad-kit) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
