She asked if I could apply the shea butter, which surprised me. She complained about the smell but it soothed her rash. My GF also doesn't love the smell but so far that has been inconsequential. What matters to me is: purity, safety, and effectiveness. It checks those boxes for me. I no longer notice the smell.

I bought this in 2025 and it was great! Very smooth and lightly smoky/nutty scented. I recommended it to all my family and friends. But I made another purchase at the end of this June and just opened it. It was rancid, gray, and smelled of feces. The smell filled my entire kitchen, dining area, and living room from opening it. It had touched it and put some on my hands to see if I was going crazy and then had to wash my hands 4 times to get the smell off. DO NOT BUY!!!!! This company has poor quality control if this is what I received. You will receive feces Shea butter that is god awful.
