This was a perfect fit ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Upgraded Part *by on Reviewed in the United States November 13, 2020* In this kit the insert for the spindle that mates the stem to the spindle is thick brass, my original is plastic which was starting to crack.FWIW, this spindle is "off" in the middle as opposed to the old one which was "sorta both" in the middle.A 5/16" tap is really good tool to pull out the old spindle. Because a tap cuts threads as it goes in, it doesn't cause the spindle to expand, which would make it harder to pull out. The old spindle won't be damaged this way, so it could be reused given a new O ring...
