Safe for ceramic glass cooktops?** A: The bottom is completely flat. I use mine on a ceramic cook-top. It is a great grill pan. **Q: Can this pan be used on an induction cooktop?** A: CXT series are designed to be used on induction stoves, Professional series I don't think so, at least that's the difference between both series. **Q: Can this pan go into the broiler? I know all Scanpans can go to 500 degrees. I'm thinking the oven broiler might be hotter than that. Thanks!** A: I have never used mine in an oven broiler, so cannot answer your question. **Q: Does the handle stay cool?** A: It does stay very cool. Keep in mind you can't use high heat.
