Review: Love These! - After much deliberation, my wife and I decided on the cleaner and less intrusive look of in-wall speakers for our surround and back surround speakers. I already own Klipsch LCR and subwoofer, as well as four in-ceiling speakers, so I wanted to keep my new surround speakers Klipsch as well. So far I am really happy with the ease of installation, the sound and the look of the R-5502-W II in-wall speakers. I bought all four here at desertcart, so shipping was fast and convenient. I'd definitely look at these if you want a clean look that doesn't take up a lot of wall space. Just be aware, if you do use these speakers you will have to be able to run speaker wire into the walls. The magnetic covers fit very securely, they are not going to bounce off or get knocked off at all. The covers are also paintable. They came white, I painted them black. Extra tip: Go to the audio advice dot com to configure your speaker layout. It was a huge help in deciding where all my surround and Atmos speakers should be located in my home theater room.

The installation process was somewhat challenging, but the twist-to-tighten to the wall feature is a god-send and made it significantly easier to install. The amount of sound they push is kind of crazy, and even by doing because they're so secured to the wall they don't move even though they can shake the wall! Pretty great, definitely happy with purchase.

A: If the speaker is mounted horizontally the horn pivots up and down.
If the speaker is mounted vertically the horn pivots right and left.

**Q: Is this the same speaker as pro-250rpw?**
A: The R-5502-W II is not the same speaker as the PRO-250RPW. Among other things, the main difference between these models is the moveable tweeter on the R-5502-W II, while the 250RPW is a fixed tweeter. Other differences between the models are listed on the spec sheets.
