Review: Love This thing! perfect for Roaming/travel - Ok, admittedly Im a "Man Bag" guy...and yep, those who know me know me well for it. BUT sometimes I just want to go fast quick and efficient not needing the iPad, or laptop, and the host of other gadgets, that lead me to picking one of these up on desertcart. Man am I Glad I did. The clip for my jeans slides on really pretty easy (no snaring to worry it will begin to wear the jeans as some others sure have done). I LOVE the magnetic closure. Works fine! No issue with it at all so far, closes as you'd want it. I have the iPhone 11 Max Pro, and absolutely no issues with it fitting. I can't see me wanting to fit anything else in with it, ( I do have a slim case on the iPhone and its not a issue), but there is a slim sleeve just in front of where the phone fits and my credit card does fit fine. I could probably ad my DL with that, but have not needed to. And the little zip case can hold some cash, folded. I am a pen collector, always have a pen with me. I do tend to have pretty pricey pens (easily in the $50-$200 range) and if you are like me then you want to be SURE that the pen is secure. It is!! The pen is going nowhere without you knowing about it! This for me is a big plus. Sometimes I throw this clip case in my other bag if Im traveling distant and want the options. I do outdoor photography with the whole CoVid-19 thing going on its nice to get out and away from people, so Ill take this and throw it in my man bag, head out for a over night or more, and when I want it to go with me solo, and leave the other gear behind, even if just in my car, then I clip it on and head out. When I get back, throw back in the sling or man bag and I just keep on moving with what ever Im doing. This has been absolutely worth it. I cannot stand things weighing my pockets down! Now, just my keys are in my pockets at most. If I am in a major city, this is perfect for leaving the hotel and roaming around. have what I need, and my pockets are free. For something so simple, this sure has been awesome to have! The hotel card key will also fit if you don't have the digital key on your phone. Some still don't have this. This works great!
Review: DURABLE - lasts for years! - I bought this same phone holder for my husband 4 years ago. He wanted something that would be durable, not too bulky, and that would look good with both business casual and outdoor/field attire. He wanted to be able to clip it to his belt. This holder checked all the boxes, and has served him well for the last four years. I am impressed it has held up so well, but now needs to be retired, because the fabric has started to rip, and the magnets that hold the flap closed have fallen out. The clip is as good as new, but the whole thing looks a bit tattered now so, I ordered him a new one. The exact same one. I am happy that it was still available, and super happy that the design is essentially the same. All the things we loved about the old case are there in the new one. It has the durable metal clip, it has a loop if one wanted to slide a belt through (my husband didn’t use it that way though), it has the magnetic closure on the flap, and a slim pocket for a credit card or a couple bills, and a zippered pouch for his earbuds. Additionally, it has the 2 pen holders which he rarely used - he’s a pencil-over-the-ear guy. This is a fantastic case, reasonably priced, and will LAST for years! I hope it’s still available in 4 more years when he’ll be ready for another one! The photo shows the brand new one on the left and the one we bought 4 years ago on the right. Awesome product!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can magnets hurt a iPhone ?**
A: If you’re referring to the iPhones with Magsafe (which is limited to the 12 and 13 series at the time of writing), I’m not sure how the magnets in this holster would impact the magnets in the phone. It’s the only issue holding me back from purchasing this… hell, I might get it anyways! I just want other buyers to be aware of this.

**Q: The description says magnetic closure, but the pic shows a velcro closure. What does it come with and are there pics of the vagnetic closure one if it**
A: Hello and thank you for the inquiry. This model is the correct version with magnetic closure. We noticed there is one image was uploaded incorrectly that shows the velcro. The magnetic version has a smooth surface with metal and magnet under the nylon fabric, instead of the velcro you saw. Thank you again for your interests in our holster.

**Q: Will the case fit a iPhone 13?**
A: have an iPhone 11 with Otter case and it fits fine. I believe the 13 is .2” less wide and .1” less tall (screen size the same) so it should work. Hope this helps.

**Q: Will this case fit an iphone 12 pro max with otterbox defender case?**
A: Thank you for reaching out. We have tried the Otterbox Defender case for the 12 Pro Max. The magnetic cover will stay closed as a new holster. After some use when the holster is broken in (like a pair of sneakers) it will fit better.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great For Holding Phone and EDC items. Also, Magnetic Closure is an Excellent Upgrade.
*by C***. on July 7, 2026*

It's great. The magnetic closure is an excellent upgrade from the old holster from Perilogics that had a hook and loop ("Velcro") closure. That wore out with repeated opening and closing after awhile causing me to need a new holster because the hook and loop wasn't hooking and looping anymore. But with the magnetic closure that problem is solved for good. This holder is GREAT for Everyday Carry (EDC) items. I carry my phone, pen, stylus, some business cards, small charger, and charger cord in this holster. That's a LOT to pack into a phone holster! I give this holster 4 stars. If the front pocket with the zipper was a little bit bigger I would award this phone holster 5 stars. As it is the 120 volt plug in charger fits into the zippered pocket of this phone holster but it's a tight squeeze.
