Peels and sticks in seconds and cuts to size with household scissors, so one roll covers dozens of small jobs. Magnetic strips self adhesive for home, office, classroom and craft use. - MAGNETIC STRIPS FOR CRAFTS AND DISPLAY: Use for fridge magnets, whiteboards, white board and notice board displays, magnetic boards, picture frames, photo and picture hanging, signs and wall displays. Cut into pieces as your own self adhesive magnets for light craft and DIY projects. - MAGNETIC TAPE A AND B POLARITY: Polarity A and Polarity B grip together when paired, so you can add the matching roll later, or cut two pieces from one roll and turn them to face each other. Light-duty hold, ideal for lightweight items rather than tools or heavy mesh. - STRONG SELF ADHESIVE BACKING: Holds firmly to clean, smooth, dry surfaces including metal, wood, plastic and glass, and this adhesive magnetic strip lifts off again cleanly. Dirt, oil or textured paint will reduce grip; for heavier or long-term fixings, a little extra glue helps. - MAGNET STRIPS SELF ADHESIVE, FIXED LENGTHS: Thin 12mm magnetic tape supplied on a roll in fixed 2m and 3m lengths. Keep each strip as long as you can for the best hold, as small cut pieces grip less than a continuous strip. Trims neatly with scissors, no tools needed. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07RCGPMPQ | | Batteries Required? | No | | Batteries included? | No | | Best Sellers Rank | 6,521 in DIY & Tools ( See Top 100 in DIY & Tools ) 9 in Magnetic Adhesive Tape | | Customer Reviews | 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars (2,064) | | Date First Available | 1 May 2019 | | Guaranteed software updates until | unknown | | Item Weight | 200 g | | Manufacturer | The Bead Shop | | Material | Steel | | Measurement System | Metric | | Package Dimensions | 12.1 x 10.6 x 1.4 cm; 200 g | | Style | 12mm Polarity B | ## Images ![Magnetic Tape - Magnetic Strips Self Adhesive, 12mm x 3m, Polarity B - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71PKAcPLTmL.jpg) ![Magnetic Tape - Magnetic Strips Self Adhesive, 12mm x 3m, Polarity B - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41-NNOLgiZL.jpg) ![Magnetic Tape - Magnetic Strips Self Adhesive, 12mm x 3m, Polarity B - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/515swGsJSsL.jpg) ![Magnetic Tape - Magnetic Strips Self Adhesive, 12mm x 3m, Polarity B - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41t-x3jz7nL.jpg) ![Magnetic Tape - Magnetic Strips Self Adhesive, 12mm x 3m, Polarity B - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41lCwg4I0iL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What size is the magnetic tape and can it stick to itself?** A: The tape is 12mm wide and 1.5mm thick. It sticks to steel surfaces and can magnetise to itself. Polarity A-to-B bonds securely, while A-to-A or B-to-B may shift slightly due to natural magnetic repelling. **Q: How do I attach the tape to surfaces?** A: It has a peel-away self-adhesive backing for quick application. For heavier items, add extra glue for stronger hold. You can also cut the tape to any length using normal household scissors. **Q: Can it be used in workplaces?** A: Yes. It's widely used in warehouses, offices and retail settings. Ideal for temporary signage, labels, posters and display setups where a clean, removable magnetic fixing is needed. **Q: What household uses is it suitable for?** A: Great for DIY projects like fridge magnets, insect screens, craft boards, photo displays and memo boards. It's easy to cut, reposition and reuse, making it suitable for flexible home organisation and decoration. **Q: Who supplies this magnetic tape?** A: It’s supplied by The Bead Shop, a long-established craft retailer based in Manchester with 25+ years of experience helping makers and DIY crafters choose reliable, high-quality materials for their projects. ## Frequently Bought Together - 3m Magnetic Tape/Strip with Self Adhesive, 12mm Wide x 3m (10ft) (Polarity B) - fowong Fly Screens for Windows, 120cm x 250cm Durable ‎Polyester Window Screen Mesh, Mosquito Window Nets To Keep Bugs Out, Insect Mesh Replacement, Suitable for Windows Doors or Skylights, White --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/129589731-magnetic-tape-magnetic-strips-self-adhesive-12mm-x-3m-polarity](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/129589731-magnetic-tape-magnetic-strips-self-adhesive-12mm-x-3m-polarity) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
