Featuring a collar notch for easy appliance alignment, it delivers reliable performance in mild to moderate temperatures, making it the go-to choice for backpackers and outdoor enthusiasts seeking convenience and efficiency. ## Description Butane/propane mix canisters are lightweight, resalable, and easily connect to stoves and lanterns. Most canister appliances are lightweight and simple to use, so if you are a backpacker who counts ounces and appreciates convenience this fuel is for you. Downsides are that canisters can't be recycled, and in subfreezing temperatures, the fuel does not perform well. Or at all. Cold temperatures affect the pressure in the canister, so performance is best in mild to moderate conditions, main advantages: convenience and light weight includes a collar notch on top of the canister that provides easy alignment in appliances ## Features - Butane/Propane mix canister - convenience and light weight. - Butane Stove Fuel 8 oz: Includes a collar notch on top of the canister that provides easy alignment in appliances. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000PY9T0S | | Best Sellers Rank | #456,031 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #186 in Camping Replacement Fuel | | Brand Name | Coleman | | Capacity | 7.75 ounces | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (483) | | Exterior Finish | Metallic, Smooth | | Fit Type | Universal | | Fuel Type | propane | | Included Components | Butane/Propane Mix Canister, C250, 220g | | Item Dimensions | 1.65 x 1.65 x 1.38 inches | | Item Type Name | Butane/Propane Mix Canister, C250, 220g | | Item Weight | 12.64 ounces | | Manufacturer | Coleman | | Manufacturer Part Number | 200780 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | See manufacturer | | Model Number | 3000004711 | | Number of Items | 1 | | OEM Equivalent Part Number | 200780 | | Product Grade | Performance Part | | UPC | 076501215779 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Coleman - **Capacity:** 7.75 ounces - **Exterior Finish:** Metallic, Smooth - **Item Weight:** 12.64 ounces - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 1.65 x 1.65 x 1.38 inches ## Images ![Coleman Butane / Propane Mix Fuel (Mix Fuel 7.75 oz.) - 7.75 oz. - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91ELv7I2deL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can this fuel be used effectively with a Jetboil stove? Is it isobutane/propane?** A: If it fits the canister it can be used. There is little difference between butane/propane and isobutane/propane.Isobutane is a structural isomer of butane. It has the same molecular formula as butane, but the structural formula is different. It is also known as methylpropane. The Iso may burn cooler but not enough unless your cooking in -30* it may not burn as wellBob LechWilderness Elite Search & RescueSearch & Rescue Training.Severe Weather-Swift-Water-Pet Rescue(609)-638-1629 **Q: Is this Coleman compatible with 7/16 thread single butane/butane-propane mixed fuel canisters (EN 417)?** A: It sure is. **Q: Does this adhere to EN417 specifications. I want to use it with Jetboil stove** A: I'm not sure what the EN417 is, but I do have a friend that uses his jetboil stove with this type of fuel can **Q: is it refillable?** A: Assuming it is refillable, there are a few things that needs to be considered: Location, Location, Location. Source tank. Connections Hoses Temperatures Always remember: Heat chases the cold. The procedure would be as follows [*NOT AN EXPERT. OTHER "PROCEDURES" EXIST. I MAY MISS A POINT. MANY ASSUMPTIONS ARE MADE WITH THESE INSTRUCTIONS]: Connect the line to the *source tank and bleed it of air before connecting it to the **receiving tank (if possible). Using dry-ice and acetone or denatured alcohol, in a 5 gallon bucket (or smaller), will lower the temperature of the slurry to under -50C. Submerge the receiving tank into this slurry for a short time. A "short time" means, until the receiving can becomes the same temperature as the slurry and it stops boiling. [This also assumes that you have more than 1 brain cell in your head and you use proper gloves and OUTDOORSNESS] ******NO SPARKS, OPEN FLAMES, SMOKING, SLOW DANCING, ETC.. Connect the hose from the source tank to the receiving can and re-submerge for a short time (Again, "short time" is relative"). Alternatively, you could weigh the can before you fill it and fill it to its correct weight (instead of re-submerging). It/I, can/would also assume that IF the can is empty, then I need 7.75 oz of fuel from the source, in order to fill the receiver can completely. OR... put the source can on a scale instead, and subtract the weight, as it fills the receiving tank. *Source. This would refer to a larger tank of which you would like to transfer gasses from. **Receiving. This would refer to this item, of which questions have been asked/answered. This does NOT refer to the Yamaha your PlayStation is connected to for surround sound. *****CAUTION MUST BE TAKEN WHEN DEALING GASSES PRESSURES AND THE FLAMMABLE AND/OR EXPLOSIVE POSSIBILITIES. *****CAUTION MUST BE TAKEN FOR POSSIBLE SOURCES OF LEAKS; E.G.
