As someone who relies on my scooter for daily transportation, I’m always concerned about theft, especially when locking it up at a bike rack in public. This alarm has given me so much peace of mind. Durable and Well-Built The alarm feels solid and well-made. It’s compact enough to stay out of sight, but the quality of the build gives me confidence that it can withstand daily use and varying weather conditions. Powerful Alarm The sound is LOUD—exactly what you want in an alarm. If someone so much as nudges the scooter, it triggers a piercing alert that would scare off any would-be thief and draw immediate attention. Easy Installation The installation process was straightforward. It comes with everything you need to attach it securely, and the instructions were clear. I had it set up in less than 10 minutes. Convenient Remote Control The remote control is a game changer. It’s small enough to carry on my keychain and has a good range, so I can activate or deactivate the alarm without having to be right next to the scooter. The remote also feels sturdy and well-designed. Added Security Layer While I always lock up my scooter with a quality U-lock, this alarm adds a crucial extra layer of security. Knowing that any tampering will trigger a loud alarm makes me feel much more comfortable leaving my scooter unattended for extended periods. It’s a deterrent that could make a potential thief think twice. Battery Life The battery life has been excellent so far. I’ve been using it for a few weeks, I appreciate that it doesn’t drain quickly despite being in constant use. Overall This remote-controlled alarm has become an essential part of my scooter setup. It’s affordable, easy to use, and provides an extra layer of protection that every electric scooter owner should have. If you’re looking for a reliable, effective way to deter theft, this is it. Highly recommend! Review: It’s loud - Only had it for two days. When tested it on my Fold 1 Plus it worked great. Mounted easily and was loud. Hope it will never have to be used. But I’m confident that it will work if needed. Good price and recommended. ## Features - [Loud 113dB Bike Alarm] Fosmon’s 113dB loud vibration bicycle alarm with remote control is a great tool to protect your bike from theft. I follow the instructions, but when I press the button I hear the same 3 pitches.** A: Do this for step one: hold the unlock button for 6 seconds. In that 6 seconds you'll see the blue light around the lock symbol come on and go off then come back on (you'll also hear some tones but they're not important). It's when the blue light some back on at 6 seconds that you're in business. You can now follow instructions 2 thru 4. That's it. **Q: Is the remote water waterproof???** A: We bougt the arlam to use indoors. It does say on the box that it is waterproof. Since it is a bike alarm that makes sense. **Q: Will this keep the dogs away when I go fir a walk???** A: I don’t know if that would work or not. It is very loud and May startle the dog, don’t think it will chase a very aggressive dog away though. **Q: could it be used to prevent catalytic converter thefts?** A: Not sure unless you just put it on the car in general then it may or may not work for that I keep it on my e-bike works perfectly for that. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Must-Have Security Upgrade for My Electric Scooter *by P***E on December 11, 2024* I recently added this remote-controlled alarm to my electric scooter, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.
