The bow is defective though. They couldn’t get the hair to stay in the bow. They took it to 3 neighbors who seriously play the violin and the bow could not be fixed. Update: the seller sent a complete new violin, bow and case. Fantastic customer service! ### ⭐ Terrible Violin *by K***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 8, 2020* The violin would not tighten the strings to tune. The bow completely fell apart after the first use on the violin. The case started falling apart as well. All within the first 8 hrs of owning. Also, the rosin was not included as advertised. ### ⭐ Cute but worthless *by L***Z on Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2020* Cheap --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/127846999-2019-new-new-1-4-size-violin-case-acoustic-violin](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/127846999-2019-new-new-1-4-size-violin-case-acoustic-violin) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
