Our balloon shaped crystal glassware is inspired by the Copa de Balon glass that dates back to the 1700s in the Basque region of northern Spain. These Copa (pronounced Koh-pa) de Balon glasses are designed to trap the aromas of your favourite gin to enhance the taste of the drink; the large bowl allows plenty of ice and lime into the glass to add to the flavour and keep your drink cool. The additional benefit to this is that your ice cubes will greatly reduce the time it takes for the ice cubes to melt - reducing the the speed as which yoru drink dilutes. Why our Copa de Balon Style Glass?Where the β€˜copa serve’ really comes into it’s own though, is in the way that it’s garnished – utilising a variety of vegetables, spices and natural botanicals, pretty much anything goes – so long as they complement the flavour profile of the various botanicals in each gin and enhance the drink on the nose. The shape of the balΓ³n glass highlights the aromas and truly allows the botanicals to shine through. As smell is 80% of taste, it is easy to see why this style serve is becoming so popular. What can you create with your new Palacade crystal glasses?Glass SizeEach of your new Copa de Balon glasses are 21cm in height with an opening of 8cm specifically designed to highlight the aromas and allow the botanicals of your gin to provide a most memorable experience.Get Yours Now by simply Click the "Add To Basket" button in the top right corner to experience Palacade quality - completely risk free! ## Features - Gin Glass Set of 2 - Gift Box - Dish Washer Safe ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07MWD6CJR | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Brand Name | Palacade | | Colour | Crystal | | Customer Package Type | Standard Packaging | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (41) | | Manufacturer | Yiwu Jingsourcing E-commerce Co, Limited | | Manufacturer Part Number | GinGlass_01 | | Material Type | Crystal | | Number of Items | 2 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Dish Washer Safe, Gift Box, Gin Glass Set of 2 | | Pattern | Solid | | Product Care Instructions | Dishwasher Safe | | Product Style | Casual | | Size | 650ml | | Theme | Birthday, Wedding | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Palacade - **Colour:** Crystal - **Material:** Crystal - **Special feature:** Dish Washer Safe, Gift Box, Gin Glass Set of 2 - **Style:** Casual ## Images ![Gin Glasses Set Of 2 - Large Giant Balloon Shaped Crystal Goblet - Gin and Tonic Set For Men and Women - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/710VDcRZvwL.jpg) ![Gin Glasses Set Of 2 - Large Giant Balloon Shaped Crystal Goblet - Gin and Tonic Set For Men and Women - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51pewtO979L.jpg) ![Gin Glasses Set Of 2 - Large Giant Balloon Shaped Crystal Goblet - Gin and Tonic Set For Men and Women - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51-4Puea+PL.jpg) ![Gin Glasses Set Of 2 - Large Giant Balloon Shaped Crystal Goblet - Gin and Tonic Set For Men and Women - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51mWfs54C+L.jpg) ![Gin Glasses Set Of 2 - Large Giant Balloon Shaped Crystal Goblet - Gin and Tonic Set For Men and Women - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/518DAclduSL.jpg) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/127710626-gin-glasses-set-of-2-large-giant-balloon-shaped-crystal](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/127710626-gin-glasses-set-of-2-large-giant-balloon-shaped-crystal) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
