Boning cool flex ferry-l- adheres points and inserts to carbon shafts. This low temperature hot Melt Cement is tough, Elastic, water-proof and heat reversible. A super strong, low melt temp, adhesive specifically formulated for carbon arrows. Easy to apply. One 12 gram stick will do approx. . 144 inserts.

Review: Excellent hot melt for carbon arrows - This is an excellent low temp hot melt glue. Previously I was using another brand of hot melt and while I was removing some points I noticed how hot I needed to get the point before I could remove it - which can damage carbon arrows. The Bohning 1308 melts at a much lower temperature making it a lot easier to install and remove points and there is no difference in holding strength that I have seen so far. Good stuff and the price is very right !!

**Q: Any one had any issues with inserts coming out in cold weather? Below freezing?**
A: No and I also use it on my lighted nocks to help hold them in a little tighter

**Q: What is the melting temperature of this glue?**
A: 280 degrees Fahrenheit or 137.8 Celsius.

**Q: Does it work with a glue gun or only flame?**
A: I would say it’s to big for a glue gun. I use it with an alcohol burner

**Q: Has anyone had any problems with the glue softening in hot weather?**
A: With a melt point of about 275 degrees F... it's not gonna be softening or plastic when you're out on a 100 degree day. It'll hold.  Only situation I could see possibly being an issue is leaving a handful on your driveway in the sun all afternoon or something.. even then i doubt it'll be hot enough to remove anything.

This is my favorite insert glue. Holds very strong but you don't have to destroy carbon shafts if you need to remove or adjust an insert. Other glues either just don't hold or they require you to use extreme temps to remove the inserts, which is fine for aluminum but dangerous for carbon shafts, which is all I shoot! I've lost inserts and collars to foam targets using other glues, but I haven't lost any while using this stuff! It seems to stay softer than other glues, which I believe helps it retain its stickiness as well. And the blue color makes it easier to see the coverage you're getting on the insert. The clear or amber stuff doesn't do as good of a job staying visible on the shiny insert.
