**Q: What size arbor**
A: 3/8" arbor

**Q: Does the blades come with it.**
A: It comes with 3 cutting disks and one grinding disk.

**Q: Will this tool cut motor shafts?**
A: if the diameter is less than 1 inch it should with the right cutting wheel.  The charge does not last very long so be aware that the job might take longer than if you had a larger corded cutter.  Also with a 3 inch wheel, the deepest you can go is about an inch anyway.  Hope this answers your question.

A: Yes the plastic shield does come off.
