**Q: is it clear or whitish?**
A: The gel is clear.  When you rub it on your face it has a white tint to it but does fade as it sits on your face.

**Q: Does it work with electric waterproof shavers?**
A: I use a wet electric shaver and have used regular shave foam, soaps  and gels, a nd YES they work fine. I have not tried American Crew yet, but it should be better than others.
