Natural is a little lighter. I have fair skin with pink undertones and both of these colors work well for me. The makeup blends very well and gives you a dewy finish. **Q: Is there a suitable replacement for "Vanilla"? It was the first (and only) foundation that matched my skin.** A: I find that ‘Natural’ is a good bet. **Q: What color replaces Beige 40?** A: Natural **Q: Does this rub of on clothes?** A: I can’t say for sure. My clothes around my neck haven’t come in contact with my face as of yet. I will know more in the winter when I wear turtlenecks and sweater’s. With that being said, this makeup does give you a flawless finish. The dispensing pump always gets blocked and I end up using only half the bottles. But there’s nothing out there like it . My price per use very steep . I always by several at a time because it’s hard to find in stores . I know opened my new bottle and after only two squirts it’s not working - frustrating that there’s no option to return and get a new one - I have at least two more of these brand new and I bet they will be the same . The color is perfect, it is an excellent sunscreen for my face & neck, and it goes on my skin so easily and smoothly. I quite often get compliments on my complexion, and I give the credit to this product.As long as I have this particular make-up on, I never have to worry about being out in the sun. I never get sun-burnt or even red from sun exposure. I have a lot of skin allergies and had a lot of problems with reactions with other types of make-up before I discovered this one. It has never caused any allergic reactions or rashes on my skin. I consider this produce my miracle make-up and have recommended it to a lot of my girlfriends. One bottle probably lasts me six months.My local departments stores don't always have the 03 Summer shade in stock, and when they do, they charge much more for it than Amazon does.
