I used loops from Friendly Loom Lotta Loops and I highly recommend them - great colors, all cotton, and NONE of them were too short. Some people have complained that loops slide off of the loom. I didn't experience this - the prongs on the loom actually flare slightly out. Of course, the last side always pops off when finishing the edges (as they have since I first started making these in the 1950's), so I tried sliding the loops onto a chopstick to hold them in place (see photo - could have used a knitting needle or something similar).
