**Q: Will it support a 4in stone ?**
A: I run 2 4 inch aquaponics stones at 24 inch depth on a whisper 100 for a single I'd recommend a whisper 40 or 60 depending on depth

**Q: Is this pump submerged.**
A: No it isn't meant to be submerged. Look at the whisper 10i or 20i for internal filters

**Q: How many ports does this and the 10 gallom have?**
A: It has one port but you can purchase dividers that will help you add more ports if you need them. See D.B.W. answer.

**Q: would this Whisper 20G be okay to use with a 5gallon tank? overkill? would a regulator help, or would it damage the pump due to back-pressure? thanks**
A: That's exactly how my friend used it, with a regulator in a 5 gallon, great pump!

     This is the 3rd one I've bought, for my 3rd aquarium. It's right next to my bed and it's so quiet I have to check and make sure it's still working. They are all this quiet, but this one is bigger and it's still quiet.
