You can play it all in an evening. **Q: how many mission are their and how experienced do you have to be** A: Its no call of duty but, somewhat fun for historic type battles. Cant remember how many missions, not alot tho. Game is kinda short. Pretty easy to play. 3Difficulty levels to choose from. If you played the first (A Nation Divided) you will notice many improvements, especially in AI soldiers. AI infantry ducks and covers, avoids being shot at much better than in the first. Otherwise the perameters are similar: levels involve clearing enemies and destroying targets. There is a gatling gun and naval mission.Overall the missions are longer than the first Civil War game, but it keeps much of the flavor of the original. Secret Missions places you in some of the most important and pivotal moments of the Civil War and in a way that few games can realize, makes you get up and close with your opponents because your weapons have limited range, limited ammo, and relatively long reload times. It must have been a brutal war.Of course there would be SO MUCH MORE that could be done with the game. I can only imagine larger battlefields if there were a multiplayer (you and buddies to practice volley firing, charging en masse with bayonets), but alas this is not possible.This is enjoyable afternoon on easy and can be quite a challenge on higher levels.
