Review: HOW ARE THESE SO GOOD FOR $50?? - Bro legit, i almost never write reviews. But I had to get IEM's on really short notice for playing drums for my worship team on Sunday, so i ordered these after seeing good reviews. If you're considering these like I was just 48 hours ago, trust me when I say these things are legit. Granted, I just got them in the mail and plugged them into my laptop to listen to spotify. Im bumping Trippie Redd right now and the bass response legitimately had my mouth on the floor. The value for the $50 I spent on these is through the roof, I actually can't believe it. I always had this perception that you had to spend 100s or 1000s on good IEM's, but these buds completely destroyed that perception. You're probably reading this like, "yeah they cant be that good, this guy must be getting paid to write this review." And honestly, I really couldn't blame you for thinking that, but I'm telling you... just try these out. It's $50 bro, and if you hate them, just return them. I haven't even eq'd my music or anything, literally just listening raw. There's also 3 other sets of tips in case the ones that come on the buds don't feel good to you. But they're so comfortable in my ear right out the box; I'll end up trying the other tips, but will probably just come back to the ones I have on currently. Okay anyway, the design and build quality feels premium enough. I like the black face plate, but they come in lots of colors. Bro the audio range in these are fire. Great bass response, vocals still sound really clear, and because they're buds, they get LOUD. I literally have my volume level on my macbook pro at less than half, and it's more than loud enough. if i tried to go over half, id probably have hearing loss, not even exaggerating. And I'm no wuss when it comes to music. I generally like to listen to my music and movies LOUD. I love bass that rattles my soulllll. obviously these are buds, so its not like you have a 12inch subwoofer right by your head, but for $50 buds bro, you genuinely can't beat this. plus, the noise cancellation on these is pretty dang good. You put these things in and the world around you just muffles. It's not completely noise cancelling, but it does feel significantly quieter. I'm excited to test these things in a live music scenario where I'm playing drums and have tracks coming through and all that stuff. But for casual listening, these things are amazing. OK, for allllll the glaze I've given these things, one con I will say is that there's certain high range frequencies in SOME songs that can feel a bit shrill and painful listening at high volumes. So that's something to consider, but by no means a deal breaker (for me, at least). Bro just buy these if you're on the fence.

Some earphones that were “desertcart choice” was not my choice. About two days ago from this review, I was introduced to in ear monitors. WTF Are in ear monitors??? Saw the price and pulled the trigger on them. Oooohhh eeemmm geee like falling in love all over again. All of a sudden music that I listen to threw me into this trance. Spending all night long listening to track after track. Music I have listened to before, music I have heard a thousand times over the years. Just had me clinging to every detail every bump, subtle sigh, every lip smack and drum snare. I was addicted, no one lived on earth except me and the three or four minutes that I lived in the song. Putting on other earphones was just to put music as my background and some noise cancellation. But now I’m actually listening laughing at every rap as they trash talk or emphasize how size matters and she knows it. Listening to every R&B falling in love or feeling the heartbreak. All this as if I was being thrown from one universe to another. My own quantum leap. Now I’m not into wine and I’m not a music connoisseur. I can only explain thing in my English and not some mix of French, Latin, and some other special words only surviving by those who use the words and know audio lingo. Have you ever heard of horn speakers? Companies like Klipsch or JBL use them for high frequency. If you have not, they give very detailed sound but it’s airy. Very light, but when playing loud it can get tinny (klipsch) JBL has managed to some how cut out the high frequency that gives ear fatigue. Like the Studio 590 those who have heard them know what I’m talking about. Trust me, it just a different sound when it comes to the highs. I have heard enough speakers and once I heard these IEM’s I could only compare them to the 590’s just without the chest crushing bass. It’s weird you just hear it in your head. With good reason to compare the highs of these IEM to horn speakers. The technology used is what is used in hearing aids. It is called balanced armature. This along with regular drivers for the mid to lows. I started with ones that twenty dollars and moved to these because you figure the more speakers the better not much the case unless you actually use them for instruments and you need to be critical about what you hear. I still use my dual driver IEM’s. Meaning armature for highs and regular speaker for lows. Don’t get me wrong these sound amazing. I have given away all my earphones. Not looking back. These are not for bass heads. If you have twelves and like heave “beats” bass. Maybe not for you. If you like balanced sound where bass is present but not overwhelming. Then you have to have them you will not regret it. Noise cancellation is passive meaning the housing sits in you ear with part of it in your ear canal. Trust me it is good enough to make it about you and your music. I don’t regret spending the money I did. This type of technology has a pricey cost in the professional world and some crazy music lover had the drums to make them available for those who are NOT willing to spend 600+dollars for some wine sipping audio that cost like a thousand for one musical note. Do it! You will not regret it. The only hard part is installing the wire to the earpieces. From there it will be music to your ears …….literally…. Pun intendid

Now I know a lot of people will think I’m a little nuts, which I reply, “just a little, bummer”. I grew up a military brat, then military. So I spent a lot of time moving and living in foreign countries. So, unlike typical Americans, did really have access to tv, so growing up music was everything. When we rotated back to the states from Italy when I was a senior in high school, I already had over 600 albums. My father was an electronic engineer, ICBM guidance, satellite communications with SR-71’s in over flights, cutting edge in the 70’s. He also was a music nut, so I became one too. He said your stereo system was only as good as its weakest component. You spend $100,000 on the best Bang and Olufsen pre amp, amp, tuner, equalizer but buy a pair of radio shack Tandy speakers…. System like a crappy radio shack system. He said you want 20-20k for frequency response from your amp. He said humans at best could only hear 50-15k. Also, always take the high current amp, not the high watts one. So, on to the IEM KZ ZS10 Pro. Me, I’ve had my left eardrum blown out. Once’s from a military dive extraction, the other an RPG detonating 3 meters from me. So my hearings not anywhere near perfect. Over the years I’ve wanted clear sound that you feel in your soul. I’ve own $1,000 Shures, JBL and so on. About ten years ago I found this little company called soundpeat. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with their earbuds. The Truengine I bought before COVID were absolutely incredible. BEATS, JBL, Apple, none of those compared at 2,4,8 times the price. Now I’m older and feeling my age. Because I listen to the likes of Metallica, AC/DC, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters down to SADE, The Eagles, Journey and such. I want clear definition and loud. So, I saw all the reviews on the KZ IEM. So I went through all of the offerings. I settled on these KZ ZS10 Pro’s. Why you ask? I looked at all of the models. Ohms, frequency response and decibel sensitivity. Low ohms, high sensitivity equals loud. So even though you get KZ’s latest with 1 10~12mm driver and 5 balanced armatures, wow, just wow! What they are squeezing in to such tiny places is amazing. The older KZ ZS10 Pro’s had the same great frequency response as the other models, but? They also have the lowest ohm resistance of 24ohms and a whopping 111db sensitivity. So, if you’ve actually made it through this novel I wrote? Low ohms, high sensitivity equals loud, or louder all other things being equal. If been listening with these IEM’s now for 7 hours straight. I’m so blown away, I literally don’t want to stop listening to music. $40, $50, $60, whatever, get a pair before their gone. Last two things. I bought these with just the 3.5mm audio connector. I already had a 3.5mm audio to hi fi res USB C connector for my IPhone 16 Pro Max. Side note, I’m using the silicone tips that come with these, 7 hours a complete comfort. Now, pre COVID when I bought these awesome sound peat Bluetooth earbuds they included one pair of these awesome noise canceling memory foam tips. The were awesome, though? After nine months they needed replacing so I looked they up and the lost price was $20 for one pair! Again never refusing a challenge, on to Amazon. I found a company called sonic foam. You can buy different sizes, for different size tip diameters and three or four ear canal size. You know your usual s,m,l,xl standard. You can get a 10 pair box for $15 on amazon. Beats $20 for one pair any day. I’m listening to Fleetwood Mac greatest hits right now at 50% volume on my iPhone and they’re loader the any IEM’s, Bluetooth earbuds or earphones I’ve had in the last decade. Yes I know I’m old 😂😂😂😂😂
