This is a fabulous looking pillow and its perfect for my western themed living area.  The variety of browns in it allow it to coordinate well with the browns I already had.  It is a little rough feeling, but anything "hooked" typically is.  I bought it for looks and to support my lower back, so the roughness isn't an issue for me.  Everyone who sees it, loves it!
