I was issued two pairs of Altama boots, an All Leather and an Improved Hot Weather Cordura and Leather pair. Like a lot of other Marines at that time, I bought two pairs of Altama canvas OD Green Jungle Boots and wore those until my contract ended. (one pair still has my dog tag in the laces, I still have them) When I saw these boots I had to buy a pair. They are the best of both worlds. It is an OD Green Improved Hot Weather Boot like the black cordura pair I was issued. Altama makes solid products and these are definitely up to their standards. Fit is spot on.
